Talk about great service!! I researched Better the Business Bureau (BBB) for repairs and found Nationwide Transmission. I made an appointment online and 10 minutes later, after store hours might I add, I received a phone call from the owner! I explained my situation and he went above and beyond to retrieve my vehicle. I just wanted to tell you I didn't pick Nationwide Transmission, I picked you. I've been around cars my whole live and I know mechanics and sales men. The day I brought my Jeep to your shop I had been to a lot of shops. A shop doesn't sell the work, the mechanic does. I felt good about you. I came in about a leak. You told me if I could fix it then fix it. You where just worried about internal damage. When I left I told Johanna when she has my transmission fixed to bring it to you. I knew it needed to be gone through, I just didn't have time to take it up there and I had to get the leak fixed. It turned out to be something small with the leak. When the guy "rebuilt" my motor he pulled a line out of my transmission. No big deal. But when he put it back in he just shoved it in and took a chunk out of the O-ring. I replaced the O-ring and the leak stopped. I don't know when it started to slip. When I was home for R&R it was slipping. I told my wife to take it to you. She asked if I was sure and I said yes. I didn't like anyone else. When someone else has to work on my cars I go with my feels not the shop or what they say. Initially, I met Blake and Laurie when another mechanic informed me I had a transmission problem on my 2003 Ford Windstar. I decided to take it to Nationwide Transmission for a second opinion from the transmission experts. After performing a free diagnostic, Blake informed me I did not have a transmission problem. I was so impressed with him that I took my son's '98 Ford Taurus to him for transmission work. He repaired it at a very reasonable rate. The problem with my Windstar turned out to be a simple cracked spark plug. Thanks Blake!!! Spark plugs are quite a bit cheaper than transmissions. Cheers to Blake Lunsford at Nationwide Transmission on Fort Bragg Road! I was afraid that my transmission was going out, But Mr. Lunsford gave me a "free" complete diagnostic and discovered it was my brakes. It's hard to find honest mechanics, and he is definitely trustworthy!

My 2004 GMC Sierra pickup has 175,000 miles on it and the transmission has been slipping for awhile. I got several bids, one from Deans transmission Skibo for $1800 for rebuild. $1599.00 from the internet plus $350.00 deposit for old transmission with 3 year, 100,000 mile warrenty. But I went with Nation Wide even thought they cost more because of the trust I felt from the owner Mr. Lunsford. My truck seems to be running great and the 50,000 mile or 3 year warranty helped to make my decision. I did not like the fact my transmission was taken apart with out an estimate first, but I took the leap of faith and feel it was worth it. My son who is in the Airforce thinks I paid to much. The warranty plus the quaility of work was worth the price to me.

After being deployed for a year, I came home to my wife's transmission having internal problems. Went back to the dealership, and they literally tried to take me for everything I had. Decided to go to nationwide off of a friend recommendation, and received the friendliest and fastest service ever. I also paid half of what the dealership was asking. Suv runs wonderfully as I drove 6 hours immediately after picking it up. I give this place a thumbs up and highly recommend them to everyone.

I can honestly say I made the absolute correct choice in July 2009 to have the transmission in my 2000 Acura TL replaced by Nationwide Transmission. Even though I had recurring problems in October 2010, Blake thoroughly diagnosed the problem and completed the necessary corrective action, at no additional cost to me. All is well again, and I know I can continue to call Blake in the future for prompt, dedicated service if additional problems occur.
